Be My Guest!

The title? It's celebrating the live action Beauty & The Beast movie that surprisingly wasn't complete trash (yeah Live-Action Jungle Book, I mean you!). As of 5 seconds ago I made every video I have uploaded to YouTube public. Considering everything that I'm going through, having someone shit all over something I enjoy and worked hard on hurt, especially since I feel like the comment was made just for the sake of assholery. I'm a firm believer of constructive criticism, "but" and "you should" can be very useful tools, especially to somebody early on. Before I uploaded any videos I knew that by putting myself out there, I was putting myself at risk of getting my feelings hurt. I'm also very socially awkward and have nearly crippling social anxiety (honest reasons I don't use a webcam or do vlogs or hair and makeup videos). One of the reasons I chose to do YouTube is because I wanted to slowly overcome these issues, I figured if I coul...

Own it Babe, Wurk Hunty!

The title? I've been watching a lot of  RuPaul's Drag Race lately. But if you've seen my post yesterday, clearly I was not in a good place (I'm still not, nothing's changed), but the purpose for this blog is to document my journey in the wonderful world of YouTube, so that's what I'm going to do. I immediately deleted the comment because I figured that I didn't need that shit. But you know what? I immediately regretted it. Why? Because this person is telling the truth, I am boring, I know I'm boring. Not gonna lie, I had to share this pic with Alonzo Lerone because while my life is...

When It All Comes Tumbling Down

Gonna open this by saying that support is very important, especially early on. Everyone takes for  granted the power of a like or even a short conversation during a stream. Bigger than that though is the support of the people you love. Backtracking a bit, I thought I would be one of those people to start at the bottom and then spiral up very quickly, I had all of these dreams and ambitions when I left college, and one by one they've all crashed and burned. I was not supposed to wind up living in my mother's third bedroom that doubles as storage, I was not supposed to be so broke that I can't even afford to buy my parents even the smallest gifts for their birthdays, not me, one way or the other I was supposed to be successful. Fast-forward to today, it's eight years after my life was supposed to begin and six months after my second chance was supposed to begin. Plan A: move to Canada (failed), Plan B: find a job to be able to get my own place, finally begin my life a...
